Private Tutoring

Hi,

I am excited to work with your child one-on-one.  I am a certified teacher, K-8.  I taught for six years, private tutored for 3 years, and currently substitute teach.  I enjoy working with students and seeing them succeed in school!  I have seen what it is like for a parent to watch their child struggle in class with math, reading, science, spelling or writing.  I would love to help your child succeed in building their confidence and self esteem when it comes to school.

I charge $30 an hour.  I tutor once or twice a week.  I do if from my home in Lehi.  Payment is due at the beginning of each month on the first day of tutoring.  I only take cash, check or venmo. 

If your student misses any days during that month it will be rolled over into the next month.  If you need to miss a day of tutoring, please give me a 24 hour notice.  If student doesn't show up on their tutoring day without a verbal or written excuse it will count as if student did show up.

If student is a behavior problem, I do a three strikes rule.  I don't want to waste anyone's time or money.  If we are not able to get any work done during the hour because of behavior then we will try to come up with a plan to see what is best for the student and parent.
